About Aaron Beeken

Aaron Beeken is a freelance guitarist, session guitarist and dedicated guitar teacher located in Deeping St James, near Peterborough. Aaron is available for session work both live and in the studio, offering professional, reliable guitar and bass performances across a wide range of styles including rock, pop, soul, metal and contemporary music.
Aaron has extensive live performance experience, including touring across Europe, performing at festivals, weddings, corporate events and original music showcases. His experience on stage has developed a confident, adaptable approach — equally comfortable supporting an artist, locking into a tight rhythm section, or delivering standout lead performances when required.
As a recording artist and producer, Aaron has released original music available on platforms such as iTunes and other major streaming services. His work reflects both technical proficiency and expressive depth, combining strong melodic phrasing with thoughtful musicality.
Aaron’s musical work includes performing with bands such as SynaptiK, Proto Inferno and Sons of Kal-El, as well as releasing music under his own name as a solo artist. He has also worked as a guitar technician for Andy Sneap’s band Hell, further demonstrating his technical knowledge and professional experience within the industry.
Aaron has had the privilege of sharing the stage twice with the legendary Steve Vai — at The Academy of Contemporary Music (ACM) in Guildford and at Portsmouth Guildhall. He was later interviewed about the experience in the 25th Anniversary edition of Guitarist Magazine, reflecting on the significance of performing alongside one of the instrument’s most influential figures.
With over 20 years of teaching experience, Aaron has worked with beginners through to advanced players, helping students develop strong technical foundations, stylistic versatility and creative confidence. His teaching approach is structured yet flexible, tailored to the individual goals of each student — whether preparing for graded exams, developing improvisational skills, refining performance technique or simply playing for enjoyment.
Having performed in numerous bands across multiple genres, Aaron brings a wealth of real-world experience to both his session work and teaching. His broad musical background ensures professionalism, versatility and a deep understanding of what makes music connect — both on stage and in the studio.
